History of Australia Tibetan Buddhist Centre
Geshe la arrived on Australian shores in 1995 with a wish to teach Buddhism. Before coming here he consulted with His Holiness the Dalai Lama and his teachers. They gave him their blessings and advice. Geshe-la began his teachings in Northern NSW in 1995. His wish was to establish a Buddhist Centre where monks, nuns and lay students could take refuge in Buddha's teachings. A centre where students can listen, contemplate and meditate on the Dharma.
