"I always believe everyone wants happiness; nobody wants to suffer. Many problems around us are caused by our mental projection of certain negative or unpleasant things. If we investigate our mental attitude, we may find it quite unbearable. Therefore I always believe a balanced mind is very useful to remove our mental pain or suffering. With good health and a steady mind, we will enjoy our life and bring more peace in our daily life also. Without mental peace one cannot be happy. For example, many rich people have mental illness, why is that? Because of a lack of mindfulness, calmness of mind and lack of inner mental stability, as they may feel there is no reason to suffer as from a materialistic viewpoint they have everything. |
